About this data

The percent of teachers indicating the need for more resources to support students is collected through SurveyWorks, a statewide school culture and climate survey that solicits feedback from educators, students, and families about strengths and challenges in their school communities. This measure had been fairly consistent for a number of years before increasing eight percentage points in the 2020-21 school year.
